Congrats to BOYS ON JUPITER 🏆 Official Overall Champions of our inaugural BATTLE OF THE BANDS 2022! The all-girl band from Laie swept the podium at the Kahuku Sugar Mill’s Sunset Skates on March 19, 2022, also winning “Best Original” and “Best Dance Song” for this cover of Blondie’s “One Way or Another.”
The “Best Musicians” Award went to SPOIL HONEY; “Best Cover” Award went to the SUPER SPREADERS; and“People’s Choice” was THE SETS! The overall champs were given the opportunity to perform live on KTUH FM radio’s Monday Night Live with DJ Mikey Rhude, via 90.1 FM Honolulu / 91.1 FM North Shore / Live streaming on ktuh.org:
